A Commitment To Service And The Constitution
I am criminal defense lawyer Will Clemons. My approach to criminal defense is based on a commitment to personal service. What that means is that I will evaluate the evidence, your perspective of the facts, and your hopes to create the best legal strategy to serve your best interests.
I believe that giving you the straight-forward facts about the strengths and weaknesses of the commonwealth's case is vital in allowing you to make the right choices. To that end, I do not offer false promises to gain your trust. I will lay out the facts you need to know in easy to understand terms. I draw on my knowledge of the laws and procedures in local courtrooms to provide an aggressive defense aimed at achieving the best possible results in every case.
Prior to law school, I served our country as an active duty infantryman in the U.S. Army. My focus as a criminal defense lawyer is informed by my dedication to service and defending the rights of individuals. Your constitutional rights are vitally important to me.
The Experience You Need To Protect Your Future
After graduating from law school, I became extremely versed with criminal law and courtroom procedures and conducted numerous bench and jury trials while working for the Roanoke City Commonwealth's Attorney's Office as an assistant commonwealth's attorney as well as the Pulaski Public Defender's Office as an assistant public defender.
Today, I draw on that early valuable experience to aggressively protect the rights of individuals accused of crimes throughout southwest Virginia. You will work hand-in-hand with a lawyer who knows the nuances of local courts, based upon my extensive experience in criminal law from the perspectives on both sides.
